14th May, 2013 - Book launched in Maltese 

The book was launched in Maltese entitled 'Eleo u l-Pjaneta Babil'. The project was done in collaboration with and financed by the Commission for Children. The book was launched in an event on the 14th of May, endorsed by Children's Commission Ms. Helen D'Amato at St. Benedict's College. The book was translated into Maltese by Maltese author, Trevor Zahra. 

8th October, 2012 - Book distributed at European meeting of ENOC

This week our "Eleo and the Bubble Planet" will be distributed by the Children's Commissioner Ms. Helen D'Amato at the European meeting of European Network of Ombudspeople for Children in Cyprus (http://www.crin.org/enoc/members/index.asp). 

18th January, 2012 - Book launched at De La Salle College 

The book has been launched at De La Salle College under the patronage of Hon. Minister Dolores Cristina. The feedback from the media, the children, our guests and educators present has been extremely positive. 

12th January, 2012 - Book to be launch and distributed to schools next Wednesday

The book will be launch in a special launch to be held at De La Salle College next Wednesday 18th January, 2012. During the launch the book will be distributed to primary schools. 

14th August, 2011 - Final work underway to get book published by September

Final work is underway by our team, the illustrator and the designer to finalise the book and get it published by September. Next news will definitely be good news so keep coming back for more information. 

30th May, 2011 - First Draft Text and Illustration ready 

The first draft of the book is ready and also the first draft illustration. One can  view the draft text and illustration on the forum. 

4th April, 2011 - International Session comes to an end

The creative session with our international partners has now come to an end. The results have been very fruitful. Results of this workshop will be uploaded in the forum in the coming days. View photos here. 

11th March, 2011 - Session with foreign partners to be held in Malta

A creative session with the foreign partners on the project will be held in Malta from the 1st till the 3rd of April, 2011.

3rd January, 2011 - Final character decided

The final character for the book and the basic skeleton of the book has been decided following the creative session in Gozo in November. The next step is to start working on each of the individual article. 

21st November, 2010: Creative Session held in Malta

A creative session among the Maltese group was held in Gozo. A lot of ideas were generated on characterisation during the one day workshop. The results of this workshop will be put together to create the final character.  

9th October, 2010: Creative Session - Malta Group

A creative session among the Maltese group taking part in this project will take place in the 3rd week of November 2010. The group will divide itself into smaller groups to go through the UDHR and start writing a first draft on the book. We will keep you updated on the outcome.

10th September, 2010: Dates confirmed for International Creative Session in Malta 

The International Creative Session with participants from our partner organisations from Estonia, Slovenia and Bulgaria will be held from the 1st till the 3rd of April, 2011.
